Education Worker - Placement Support Team
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Teacher or someone with a background in education to join the Treatment Foster Care and Placement Support Team.
This is a unique and exciting role working as part of a team providing a range of support to children and Foster Carers. You will support and consult with schools, and work directly with children both individually, and in groups. This is a great time to join the team, at a point when we are developing new services for Foster Carers and children. You will receive TFCO training, regular supervision and attend weekly team meetings, to support you in your work.
Treatment Foster Care Oregon is an intensive support evidenced based programme, supporting children to develop the skills they need to be successful at home, in the community and at school. The children on the programme need significant support with their behaviour, and are likely to have had a number or placement moves, and be experiencing difficulty in school. The Placement Support Team support children and Foster Carers, to help stabilise Foster Care placements that are at risk of breaking down and when difficulties at school are impacting on the stability of the child's Foster Placement. The post would therefore suit individuals from an education background
Interviews will be held on the 20th and 21st December, for further information please contact Becki Robinson on 0117 3532153 or firstname.lastname@example.org
